Welcome to The Fort Lauderdale (FL) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated website. The Links, Incorporated founded in 1946 is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations of extraordinary women who are committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry. The membership consists of nearly 14,000 professional women of color in 283 chapters located in 41 states, the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.

On September 24, 1974, seventeen (17) dynamic women chartered The Fort Lauderdale (FL) Chapter.

Our chapter is proud to partner with Broward County schools and provide quality programs to the Fort Lauderdale community through our signature program “Links 2 Leadership“ at Annabel C. Perry K-8 and Lauderhill 6-12. Our initiatives are aligned with the organizations five (5) facets which include Services to Youth, The Arts, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services and Health and Human Services.

The Links, Incorporated is built on the tenants of Service and Friendship and our organization contributes more than 1 million hours of community service annually.

We invite you to browse our website, follow us on social media, and look for opportunities to participate in our community events this year.
